For ten years I’ve been untangling tortured syntax, eradicating passive voice, squashing grammar bugs, and translating “corporate speak” so nothing gets in the way of the message.
My extensive sales background guides my editing and writing, and if a word doesn’t help tell the story or advance the sale, it’s out. William Zinsser said it best in On Writing Well: “Rewriting is the essence of writing well: it’s where the game is won or lost.”
